Life In A Bubble.

... because sometimes, it's a nicer place to be in.

If I could, I would.

To be safe, blissfully ignorant, innocent, happy.

But things don't always go the way we want them to.

Because even when you think you're safe, reality happens.

I wish for so many things.
But most of all: for everyone to get along contentedly, securely, respectfully, politely, nicely, happily.

Dreaming a Dream.

.

Dreams...

You know, the dreams you've had when you were younger? Not the dreams you can't control. The daydreams. The dreams that you'll be famous, that you'll be a star, that you'll invent something..

Those kinds of dreams.

The kinds of dreams that only a fortunate few realise.

The kinds of dreams that you eventually let go of.

The kinds of dreams that you eventually forget to dream about.

Something like this one, only in this case, it came true:

Recognise this place?

No? I'll give you a hint...

It's one of the top ranked Universities in the world.

Still no?

It starts with an "O"_ _ _ _ _.

It's in England.

Got it now?

That's it!!

And why am I suddenly posting this up, when I haven't posted anything on this space for weeks?

Well, you see... I've got this cousin, and she's really smart. She applied to the University of Oxford...

AND HAS GOTTEN AN UNCONDITIONAL OFFER SOMETIME IN THE LAST 24 HOURS!

So here's to you, Jasryn.

Congratz on your entry into THE University of Oxford. With your looks, and brains and everything else that you'll bring there... what more could they ask for?? Heeeee. =)

In a short few months, my cousin will be walking down these halls... It's unreal, and hard to believe, somehow, but it's soooo.... RIGHT.

Congratulations again, dear cousin. I'm really proud of you. =)

And sometimes dreams DO come true.. if you reach high enough to grab on to them.

Sense, & Sensibility.

.

Formal Operational Stage:

Abstract Thought: While children tend to think very concretely and specifically in earlier stages, the ability to think about abstract concepts emerges during the formal operational stage. Instead of relying solely on previous experiences, children begin to consider possible outcomes and consequences of actions. This type of thinking is important in long-term planning.

There's a REASON that this form of thinking develops with age. USE it and stop being egocentric like a pre-operational child.

Super glue forms very strong bonds with substances that you want to bind it to. This makes it useful in many different ways.

But if you keep finding reasons to pull it apart, if you push it hard enough... eventually it might just all fall apart.

AND THEN WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Sometimes some things, like you, just don't make sense.
